Catholic Relief Services, an international humanitarian agency of the catholic community implemented a business accelerator program that was aimed at developing small, micro and medium enterprises in various sectors within green economy, food systems/agriculture/food security and health/medical service provision, CRS therefore partnered with MCY/Inclusive Business Consulting limited as a business development service provider to TEREN Agro Limited for the business accelerator program to receive tailored business development services to build their capacity. The selection and support rendered during the assignment was aimed at strengthening the client business model towards post revenue operational capacity and making them investor ready.
TEREN Agro limited is an animal feed production company specializing in aquaculture products ranging from production of quality raw materials in this case Soy beans through specified farmers to transforming these raw materials to floating fish feed. The business engages Soy bean farmers on out grower contract model by supplying them with quality soy bean seed (certified Tikolore soy been seeds) with the aim of producing quality soy beans in larger quantities to produce quality floating fish feed.
MCY/Inclusive Business Consulting limited successfully delivered the assignment which had three milestones namely; Development of a 5-year strategic plan, Development of Human Resources policy and Job profiling. TEREN Agro limited is now on course to achieve its strategic goals.
